Description
This hard-wearing camping pad is a great time saver. No electricity or pump needed to inflate. Its valves are designed to fully inflate the pad and make deflation quick and easy. Just twist the valve open and the pad begins to fill itself. It will be completely inflated in a matter of minutes. Then twist it closed to trap the air at any level of inflation you like best. The non-slip bottom is made with durable materials that keep the pad from shifting. When you’re ready to head out, open the valve again and roll the air out from the bottom. Carry case has a comfortably placed shoulder strap—all together with compressed pad equals 3.6 pounds (1.6 kg). Velcro attachment strips on the side allow for a double-wide or double-thick configuration, couple that with the Adventurer Camp Cot and you have a perfect camp bed.

We purchased these pads for use while backpack and backcountry camping. We have tent camped for years, using 8 person geodesic tents and a queen air mattress (can’t lay on the ground like we used to be able to). We were not sure that a 1 1/2″ thick pad was going to work for us. We have used the pads once so far in mid-Michigan during July. We were pleasantly impressed with the performance of these pads. We attached two together, paired them with Teton Celsius bags which were also zipped together. We had warm weather, 70 degrees at night, and mostly laid on the bags and covered with a sheet. Not once did I or my wife ‘bottom out’ and touch the ground. The pads inflated easily (first self inflated, then we added in just a little air to get the most loft we could), stayed put, and were very comfortable. I could not tell any difference from the queen mattress, other than the width. We used the pads in a Mountain Ultra 4 tent, which had more than enough room for the pad and bags. These pads are durable, well constructed, and 1/3 the cost of similar items from the other name brand offerings. I am confident these will serve us well, on and off trail.

I use this pad camping and hunting, fits on my backpack with almost zero added weight and rolls up very compact to save space as well. Self inflating works great but a little extra air keeps you off the ground if you are a little heavier built. Well built and should last many more years. I would recommend this pad to any one that camps and sleeps in a tent or outdoors when the weather permits. My kids have used this pad when the have sleepover and sleep on the floor too.

I am so happy with this camp pad. I LOVE the convenience of having our pads inflating while we set up the rest of camp, and when we go to sleep they are all ready to go! These pads are so comfortable, and they stay inflated all night long. I pair these pads with our Mountain Ultra tent, and the tent and pads are so small when packed, my whole campground can fit on my shoulders! If you are wanting a comfortable nights sleep, get this pad!

These camp pads are great! I’ve never liked air mattresses, especially since getting married. It seems like no matter what the quality of the air mattresses, I’m always sliding into my husband or waking up when he moves. So, I was very excited when we found these. They are very comfortable and easy to set up. They pack to a nice size and are lightweight. We use these when camping and have used them several times when visiting family rather than sleeping on the floor. It is also very nice that they Velcro together. Rest assured, you’ll get a great night’s sleep with these!

The Regular Self-Inflating Camp Pad is easy as can be. The self-inflating took a few minutes longer the first time, but we store our pad inflated and use it often. It’s really lightweight and comfortable. The microfiber material is really soft and pretty easy to clean. It has been a very durable and useful purchase.
