We ship from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah via various methods, including USPS and FedEx. If an item is available for sale, it is in stock in our warehouse and will ship as soon as the payment processes, usually within 1 business day of your order.
Once shipped, orders typically take approximately 3 to 5 business days to arrive.
Standard shipping is free for orders $75 and above—after discounts are applied and before taxes and shipping are calculated—to destinations in the continental 48 US states.
When you place an order, you will get a confirmation email. Once your order has left our warehouse, we will email your tracking information to you. Your carrier can give you an estimated arrival date. Most carriers provide step-by-step updates if you request them.
Express shipping is available via FedEx. Rates are calculated by package weight and destination. These options and their rates will be available during checkout.

My review of the Explorer 4000 (probably called the Explorer 65 now) is consistent with most of the other reviews. I love this pack. It has many nice size pockets and attachment points. It is very well thought out. It's been many years since I purchased this pack and it has served me very well. I'm over 70 years old now and it's going with me this Fall to do some more solo backpacking in Utah and this bag gives me great confidence that I can do it comfortably. Thanks TETON Sports!

I bought one via Amazon. The first time we used it, one of the straps that allow you to adjust the sizing tore. Probably a manufacturing defect. I emailed Teton and the customer service was excellent and polite. They replaced the pack and told me to donate the other one. I spent almost twice as much on a major sporting goods brand pack of the same size. I think the Teton bag is a better value. Our family is into shorter trips, not ultralight junkies. This is perfect for us. I’ve looked around, and I can’t find better products for the money anywhere. Unless you’re willing to risk the weirdly-named companies selling on Amazon (and I’m not), I can’t imagine doing better. Plus Teton seems to have fairly frequent sales. So why risk it? I’m sold on Teton. Unless and until I step into ultralight territory, or venture into some extreme need, this is my go-to backpacking company.

I owe this company my life, this backpack has survived everything. It's handeled all types of weather, all types of abuse, and countless adventures. I've thrown it off a moving trains, and I've fallen down a hill flat on my back with it on and it saved me from breaking my spine, just to name a few. It has stayed strong through and through. Everyone says it's a good starter bag, but this will probably be with me till I die. And IT IS SO AFFORDABLE FOR THE QUALITY. Everything else I've tried with this quality is like 200$. If anything does happen to it, it has a life time warranty, but even if it didn't i would buy it again. honestly every product this company makes has come to my rescue when I need it the most. I will vouch for this company till the end no cap. Seriously, thank you Teton.

I love this backpack. I just got back from a four day trip using this pack and I have nothing but the best things to say about it. It has plenty on padding for the lower back and hips. Plenty of adjustment points. I like that the side pockets have openings so you can slide you trekking poles through them to secure them to the pack. Plenty of space inside. Made out of good quality material.

Bought this pack for a camping trip a week ago and it is the most uncomfortable pack I have ever owned. The price point was good but my back was hurting within a few minutes of setting out. No matter how many times I adjusted it I couldn't get it to sit correctly.

Not hard to use but kinda weird shaped back pack. I was hoping for a bigger main pack
in the way of putting all the need camping gear inside it. My USGI assault pack carries more.

For the money you can't beat this backpack, you can spend more money and get better but why bother, this is a good quality backpack that is designed well.
