Love the pack. Sleeping bag compartment is huge. Lots of straps for extra gear, tons of room inside. I didn't think I'd enjoy the detachable mini day pack, but I've started using it for trail runs and it's great! Materials are all solid, so I think the pack will last for years to come. My only negative is not having a traditional rain cover. The poncho idea is great, but it's just not for me and adds unnecessary weight to the whole setup. Also, I love the orange & black combo!

Took this pack on a 5 day 4 night trip into the Grand Teton's in Wyoming. For the cost, highly impressed with this pack, and did not let me know. Reliably and comfortably carried 50# of gear about 85 miles. It did not disappoint or let me down on this trip.

So I just got mine in the mail today. Set it up and packed 68 pounds and walked 5 miles. The straps that go around the metal back braces began to tear.
This is no fault of the manufacturer because the way it was packed had to be taken into account.
This is a wonderful bag and I intend to get it fixed through the manufacturer but make sure you pack your bag correctly with the heaviest weight at the bottom.
When putting the bag on and it weighs 50 or more pounds, I recommend sitting down and putting the straps on and fasten the buckles around your waist and chest, then stand. Do not swing the bag around onto your back.
Great bag and I would definitely get it again.

I took this pack up to Baxter State park this past January for an overnight and winter ascent of Mount Katahdin and it fit all of my winter gear perfectly. I was able to fit all of my overnight gear as well. Our group did use sleds but I managed to fit everything but my day pack in the pack. I could have strapped it to the outside of the pack if I wanted. All the adjustment points let me dial this pack in to fit me perfectly so when we did our hike in I never once thought about the pack on my back. The water bottle holders are place well enough for me to reach them on my own which was nice. When I got to camp have the multiple access points was clutch as well as I didn't have to pull everything out of my bag to get camp setup. I'm excited to use this pack for longer treks that will allow me to really test this bag's limits.

Took multiple Teton backpacks on hiking trips and this one does not disappoint. Love the rain cover that for some reason you guys don't show or mention much about. Never know when rain unexpectedly hits. This pack has plenty of room to do multiday trips easily. Love the external pockets and the ability to adjust the straps for ride height. Very comfortable. Nice heavy duty zippers and many more options to help you access your gear easily. Great quality at a great price.

I've used this pack for 2 seasons of backpacking and boundary water's trips and I have been very satisfied with its performance. It has plenty of space/pockets for all my gear and Luxury items, and the poncho/pack cover is an excellent addition for keeping the pack dry whether it's on your back or hanging in a tree. I have lent this pack to some new backpacking friends and it successfully handled the immense amount of weight they brought with. The only issue I have with the pack is the detachable day pack. It is really too small to do much with and it just gets in the way of accessing the main pocket, but it can be easily removed which is what I've permanently done with it. Overall the pack is sturdy, comfortable to carry with lots of support and is a great quality large pack for this price. Would recommend, as with every Teton item I've ever purchased.
