This is my 2nd Celsius bag got this one to zip up when the wife goes out with me. This version of the bag is large enough for me and a 60lb boxsky. If you're flying solo in the XXL, I would recommend a lite blanket or liner just to keep the draft down when you're changing sleep positions but this is not esental due to the warmth of the bag. So far I have had it out over this past Thanksgiving weekend for a 4 nighter where the lowes got down to 25 degrees and I was more than warm one night at about 30 degrees I woke up sweating. Features work well and the internal pocket is nice for keeping your glasses handy.

This is a great sleeping bag, I am not a fan of mummy bags as i am mostly a side sleeper and too and turn throughout the evening, I love the XXL size that gives me plenty of room without my feet bottoming out. I had no issues with the zipper as some have reported. I stayed plenty warm in the high 30's overnight temps. I have had great dealings with Teton.

This is a nice bag. In some reviews the zipper has been mentioned as a concern and I now see why. I’m a large guy, 6’5” @ 265 lbs, I tried to leave the zipper half way down for ventilation and twice I found that my slight body pressure had moved the zipper all the way to the bottom of the bag. It unzips very easily and I don’t see a way to stop it. Other than that it was a good buy. Some people say the bag won’t fit back in its stuff sack. Don’t roll it, gently stuff it and it fine.

We do recommend trying to take plyers and squeezing on each side of the metal slider so that it tightens around the teeth. This can prevent it from sliding so easily. My son just used his birthday sleeping bag last night. Low this morning 44 in the hills in Custer SD. Started out in sweats & tshirt, just told me he had to strip down last night because he was too “hot” in the tent with it. “Mom you did good!”

For the right person this is a 5 star bag, but for me it is more like a 3.5. The biggest issue is the zipper goes down like a hot knife through butter but constantly gets stuck on the inner fabric when trying to get pulled up. Over time I’m sure the up will get better but I think you are kind of stuck with the too easy of a down. If you zip it up all the way, there is a nice Velcro strap that you can put over the zipper to stop it from going down but this bag is extremely warm, so it is uncomfortably hot having it zipped all the way up. I bought this bag in hopes of replacing my 0 degree mummy bag and my 40 degree rectangle bag with one bag. I was excited to see the XXL version as I’m 6’-3” and 300 lbs. Most of my camping is in the Rocky Mountains so nights are often in the high 30’s lower 40’s, I knew my 40 degree bag was not warm enough so I was ideally looking for a 20 degree bag but it does not look like the Celsius XXL comes in a 20 degree so I went with the 0 degree. The bag is roomy enough to rotate from side to side in it, but every time you do, the zipper drops down and opens almost in full. I kept the bottom zipper up 6”-12” so the bag would not fully open while I was sleeping (after reading this as an issue in a different review). I’m not sure if they changed the stuff sack but I was actually impressed with it. The bag goes in with the expected amount of work but it has two over the top cross over buckles that you put on and then can tighten down to compress…

If the zipper is sliding down on its own without any force and will not stay zipped up, please reach out to us at info@tetonsports.com to start a warranty claim. The zipper should not slide down unless you intentionally unzip it, so it could be related to a defect in the teeth or track!
